Things You Need:
-2 bricks of cream cheese (vegan cream cheese works as well)
-organic cinnamon powder-semi-sweet chocolate chips (I like to use an organic, non-gmo, fair-trade but you could also substitute cocoa nibs or dark chocolate chips
-almond butter
-monkfruit sweetner (go for organic granular)
Instructions:
1) set your cream cheese on the counter for 20 minutes to soften
2) put cream cheese, cinnamon (to taste), monkfruit (to taste, but I use 1/8-1/4 of a cup), almond butter (to taste, but I use 3 TBSP), and chocolate chips (I use about 3/4 of a bag) in a mixing bowl
3) mix all ingredients together with a hand mixer
4) shape the mixture into balls or just spoonfuls
5) put in freezer for 30 minutes before you serve
Note: This recipe is very versatile. You can add more of less of the ingredients and you can also mix in additional things you may like, like chopped walnuts. I will make a large batch and keep it in the freezer and just take them out for a sweet treat to curb any sugar cravings.
